We are pleased to introduce you
to James Lugsdin

We would like to introduce you to another of our Manrex team members. James Lugsdin, our Implementation Specialist has been with Manrex for just over a year. James spends his time with Manrex installing Pharmacy automation products all over the country, today he may be in St. John's, Newfoundland and tomorrow he may wake up in Victoria, British Columbia. It takes a certain individual to work as hard as he does and we are happy to have him on the team.

James was born and raised in Winnipeg but has spent the last 15 years living in Houston Texas during which time he completed his degree and worked in the technology industry. James recently returned to his roots here in Winnipeg with his family and is happy to be able to raise his son, Zack, back in Canada.

James loves the outdoors, bike riding and playing catch with his son. His favourite Winnipeg attraction is the Forks Market and his favorite restaurant is Santa Lucia...they do have excellent pizza. He describes himself as dedicated and says his favourite thing about Manrex is the family feel and great co-workers...especially the pranksters. Around the office you can always hear him say, "Where's my lunch bag, Aymsley?"

He would love to meet President Obama someday just to be able to sit down and have a beer with him. If he won the lottery, he would pay off his home and take his family to Europe. His dream car is the Nissan 370ZX.

Under the Prairie Sky

	Winnipeg is a Cree word for "muddy waters". For over 6,000 years nomadic Cree, Ojibwa, and other First Nations peoples met at the fork of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers where Winnipeg now stands.


	Winnipeg produces over 25,000 pounds of gold medal-winning Golden Caviar and sells it worldwide.


	Winnipeg is home to the second largest community of French-speaking Canadians outside of Québec. To commemorate the Franco-Manitoban flag's 30th anniversary, À vélo pour mon drapeau, a group of 30 cyclists left Winnipeg on May 14th, 2010 transporting the flag to the parliament building in Ottawa, Ontario on May 31, 2010 for a celebration. The cyclists travelled 2200 kms, averaging 150 kms per day, in 16 days.


	The Hudson's Bay Company, the world's oldest corporation, has donated a collection of over 10,000 artifacts and written documentation stretching over 300 years to the Manitoba Museum and Provincial Archives.


	In 1970, "American Woman" by Winnipeg's The Guess Who, topped international music charts and was the number-one selling single in the world. That year, they sold more albums than any other band including The Beatles and The Doors.
